Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Russian government to increase funding for international programs to promote the Russian language. He said about this in his message, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
"Russia has long had good relations with the Arab states. They represent a unique civilization from North Africa to the Middle East, which is rapidly developing today. We consider it important to seek new points of contact with our Arab friends, to deepen the entire range of partnerships. We will do the same in the direction of Latin America. From the government "I ask to increase the financing of international programs in the field of promotion of the Russian language and our multinational culture, first of all in the CIS space and in the world as a whole," Putin said.
