One of the most serious problems in our country is science. The huge gap between expectations and reality, the need for huge investments with very long payback periods, and even without absolute guarantees, along with other problems in the field, have hindered the development of science and the entire scientific field in Kazakhstan for a long time. Moreover, the former glory of Soviet academic thought, heroic breakthroughs such as the launch of "Sputnik" or the creation of the hydrogen bomb, the atmosphere of constant scientific conflict during the Cold War, left rather high requirements for achieving results, and the mechanism for achieving them was not developed at all in the modern republic.
