The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs proposed to prohibit the operation of bars and nightclubs, entertainment establishments selling alcoholic beverages after 11:00 PM in Astana. This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Marat Akhmetzhanov, the reporter of "Adyrna" reported.
The Minister believes that if institutions are located in residential buildings, their work should be limited to 11:00 p.m., and if they are in separate buildings - to 2:00 a.m.
He also said that the uncontrolled sale of alcohol affected the criminal situation in Astana.
There are thousands of cafes, bars, night clubs in the city. This is an important area of business. Moreover, not all of their owners create a safe environment for their clients. Crime and delinquency are common. I'm not talking about disturbing the peace on a daily basis. Last year, the police responded to 13,000 such reports. This year - 4.5 thousand," said Marat Akhmetzhanov at a meeting held in the capital administration.
