With the support of Marat Sultangaziev, the mayor of Almaty region, the Department of Education and the International Public Fund "Knowledge-Innovation" jointly prepared a comprehensive plan for the development of the secondary education system in Almaty region and started implementation.
"Akimat of Almaty region is starting such a big project. The main goal is to increase the professional potential of the teaching staff of the region, to raise the quality of education, based on the 30-year experience of "Bilim-Innovatsia" lyceums. Special seminars and trainings are being held for 50 school principals selected in the region," said Saltanat Bespaeva, head of the regional education department.
65,917 students and 2,500 teachers from 50 schools of Almaty region are included in the "EDUCATION-INNOVATION" project.
