The general director and other managers of Almaty heating networks were convicted for corruption. This was reported by Antikor, the national portal "Adyrna" wrote.
Convicted for taking a bribe by the verdict of Medeu district court No. 2 of Almaty city:
- General Director of "Almaty Heat Networks" LLP (hereinafter - AJJ) K. 560 million to Beisenbinov. fine in the amount of tenge;
- D. chief engineer of AJS. Kazymbetov 560 mln. fine in the amount of tenge;
- Head of the Department of Capital Construction of AJJ S. Jingilbaev 560 mln. fine in the amount of tenge;
Director of SpetsKommunStroy LLP B. Razimbekov 400 mln. convicted with a fine of tenge.
These people have been deprived of the right to work in public service for life.
The total amount of the fine for the convicts is 2 billion. 80 mln. tenge, which is equal to the budget for the construction of a school with 350 seats or a kindergarten with 320 seats.

In accordance with Article 41 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, if the fine is not paid within the specified period, the penalty is changed to imprisonment (the court verdict has not entered into force).
