Today, approximately 10 million dollars (188.7 million Turkish liras) have been deposited into an account opened in Kazakhstan for the victims of the earthquake in Turkey. This was reported by the AstanaTV channel,the national portal "Adyrna" wrote.
All funds will be transferred to the Office of Emergency Prevention and Response (AFAD).
According to the Embassy of Turkey in Astana, the amount of 5 million dollars was received from the fund of Kazakh entrepreneur Bolat Utemuratov.
"We are grateful to the Utemuratov Foundation, which donated 5 million dollars for the victims of the earthquake. Thus, the total amount transferred to AFAD in Kazakhstan is close to 10 million dollars," the report said.
