The film "Navalny" won the British BAFTA award as the best documentary film, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.

On February 19, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts presented awards. The ceremony was broadcast live to the world on British television, as well as via an Internet application.

Daniel Rohr's Navalny, about the poisoning of a politician and the subterfuge of potential executors, was voted best documentary.

Canadian director Daniel Roer's film tells the story of the August 2020 poisoning of a Russian opposition figure, his treatment, recovery from a coma, and the politician's investigation into the circumstances of his own poisoning. The film ends with Navalny returning to Russia. He was arrested there, tried in the case of Yves Rocher and sent to the colony.

It should be noted that the premiere of the film took place at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2022, where the film won the Audience Award. In December 2022, the film won two awards at the American Cinema Eye Honors. It was also shortlisted for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ("Oscar") awards to be presented on March 12.
