On November 16, 2022, Nurlan Auesbayev, a candidate for the Presidency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on behalf of the All-National Social Democratic Party, met with voters in the conference hall of the "Zhumbaktas" hotel in the capital.

During the event, he told the audience about the priorities of his election program.

According to Nurlan Auesbayev, the main task facing the state is the reform of the political system. Kazakhstan should transition to a parliamentary-presidential model of governance. That is, it is necessary to reconsider the authority of the president.

The main role in state management should belong to the parliament. It is necessary to reorganize this legislative body. The first step towards this goal is determined by the abolition of the Senate. Majilis should be strengthened. In order to achieve this, the candidate from ZhSDP proposes to increase the number of Majilis deputies. At the same time, only 50% of deputies should be elected according to party lists. Half of the people's electorate should be made up of single-mandate constituencies, self-voters. This increases the responsibility of the parliamentarian to the electorate.
