The discovery of the oldest written monument, where the name "Turk" appears for the first time in history, is considered an important event in world science, and it gives an impetus to the development of Turkology as a scientific field. I wish you and your team further creative success. I believe that a successful partnership will be established between the Institute of Asian and African Countries and the Turkic Academy in the future," said the congratulatory letter addressed to the President of the Academy, Darkhan Kydyrali.

It should be noted that this year, as a result of the scientific expedition organized by the International Turkic Academy in cooperation with the Institute of Archeology of Mongolia, the upper part of the stone and the ritual complex belonging to the ancient Turkic era were found in the Nomkhon valley. Scientific workers of the academy, well-known Turkologists Napil Bazylkhan and Nurbolat Bogenbayev participated in the expedition. Scientists of the Turkic Academy read the inscriptions on the monument and determined that it was dedicated to Kutlyk Khagan, the founder of the Second Turkic Khaganate.
