North Korea has passed a decree declaring its status as a nuclear state. This would allow a nuclear strike on the enemy if the republic was attacked. The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, has refused negotiations on the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reports.

According to the Yonhap news agency, Kim Jong-un decided to legally consolidate the policy of nuclear forces at the meeting of the Supreme People's Assembly on September 7. The approved decree was called "Nuclear Weapons Policy". It said North Korea's policy of using such weapons was "abusive".

"If the system is threatened by an enemy attack, a nuclear strike aimed at destroying the enemy's forces, including the source of provocation and the control point,it will be delivered automatically and immediately according to a predetermined plan," the document says.
