By the decree of the head of state, Darkhan Kydyraly was appointed to the post of Minister of Information and Social Development, reports the national portal "Adyrna".

Previously, Askar Omarov held this position.

Askar Kuanyshuly Omarov was appointed to the position of director of RMM "Central Communications Service" under the President.

Darkhan Kuandykuly Kydyraly (April 16, 1974, Tulkibas district, South Kazakhstan region) is a doctor of historical sciences, academician (2017), president of the International Turkish Academy (since 2014).

2007-2008 Advisor to the Minister in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2008-2009 Worked as an expert, head of sector in the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

Between 2009 and 2012, he was the Deputy Press Secretary of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 2012-2014, he served as the Deputy General Secretary of the Turkic Council;

President of the International Turkish Academy since 2014;

Since July 2016, the chairman of the board of the joint-stock company "Egemen Kazakhstan" republican newspaper";

In 2021, he became the chairman of the board of "Egemen Kazakhstan" joint-stock company.
