Kazakh boxer Nazym Kyzaibay won a silver medal at the World Championships taking place in Liverpool (UK), reports Adyrna.
In the final bout of the under 48 kg weight category, our compatriot faced India’s Minakshi.
In the first round, Minakshi led 4:1. The second round ended 3:2 in favor of Nazym Kyzaibay. However, according to the judges’ decision, the Indian boxer claimed the victory.
Thus, Nazym Kyzaibay (under 48 kg) earned the first medal for Team Kazakhstan at the championship.
It should be noted that Nazym was born on September 14, 1993, in the village of Zhetigen, Almaty region.
