Kazakh women’s national boxing team member Alua Balkybekova claimed the gold medal at the World Championships in Liverpool (UK), reports Adyrna.
Competing in the 51 kg weight category, Balkybekova dominated her opponents.
In the final, she faced Turkish boxer Buse Naz Çakıroğlu.
After an intense bout, Alua Balkybekova was crowned a two-time World Champion with a decisive 5:0 victory.
Thus, Kazakhstan’s national team now holds three gold medals. Earlier, Sanzhar Tashkenbay (up to 50 kg) and Makhmud Sabyrkhan (up to 55 kg) had also secured gold.
