Deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan approved a bill on strengthening state regulation, control and supervision of financial markets and financial organizations, as well as counteracting the activities of financial pyramids, the national portal Adyrna reports citing Zakon.kz.
The deputies will also start developing a draft law "On amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan on combating the activities of financial (investment) pyramids."
According to the Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee of the Majilis Marat Kusainov, the draft laws were developed by deputies of the Parliament of Kazakhstan in order to implement the President's instructions on combating financial pyramids.
