Alexander Lukashenko called for the expansion of the "Allied State" project between Russia and Belarus. He said this during a meeting with the head of Russia's Voronezh region. "Thanks to you, we have a great partnership and are building an allied state based on new principles. We call for an independent, separate Russia and Belarus to develop on a mutually beneficial basis. I think there will be many people who want to join our union, especially post-Soviet countries," Lukashenko said. This was reported by the channel https://t.me/adyrnaportal.
The "Allied State" project was adopted in 1997. In 2021, Putin and Lukashenko signed agreements on the development of the project.
