EAEU countries: Kazakhstan's debt has increased within the union

As of October 1, 2021, the total public debt of the Eurasian Economic Union reached 347.2 billion dollars, which is more than 32% higher than the same date in 2020, Adyrna reports.

As of October 1, 2021, public debt in Kazakhstan exceeded 21.8 trillion tenge (including debt of the National Bank), which is 11% more than a year ago. In dollar terms, this figure amounted to 51.3 billion dollars. At the same time, according to the Eurasian Economic Commission, Kazakhstan's domestic debt amounted to 14.5 trillion tenge, and external debt - 7.4 trillion tenge.

In Russia, public debt reached 18.9 trillion rubles (+ 29.4% per annum) or 259.3 billion dollars. Internal - 15.9 trillion rubles, external - 2.9 trillion rubles.

According to the EEC, public debt in Belarus increased by 0.3% over the year to 57.1 billion rubles or 22.7 billion dollars, including 11.3 billion rubles of domestic debt and 45.8 billion rubles of external debt.

In Armenia, this figure was 4.4 trillion drams (+ 14.1% per annum) or $ 9 billion as of October 1, 2021, taking into account the debt of the Central Bank. 1.1 trillion drams in domestic debt and 3.2 trillion drams in external debt.

In turn, the public debt of Kyrgyzstan increased by 7.4% over the year and amounted to 412.6 billion soms or 4.9 billion dollars. Internal - 60.6 billion soms, external - 352 billion soms.
