President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has paid an official visit to Serbia, the Akorda press service reported on November 18, according to Adyrna.
The President was welcomed at Belgrade Airport by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
“The plane carrying the President of Kazakhstan was escorted through Serbian airspace by the country’s military aircraft. During the visit, high-level negotiations will take place. The heads of state will discuss prospects for cooperation in political, trade and economic, transport and logistics, and cultural and humanitarian sectors,” the report states.
Following the negotiations, bilateral agreements are expected to be signed. Additionally, a meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević is planned.
