A film will be made based on the plot of the well-known writer Mukhtar Magauin’s short story “The Death of the Tazy”. This was announced by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, reports Adyrna correspondent.
“Currently, scripts are being selected for the production of a feature film based on the story ‘The Death of the Tazy’,” he said in response to a question from a Senate deputy. However, the name of the deputy was not disclosed.
The Prime Minister also noted that a national day dedicated to the Tazy and Tobet dog breeds may be established in Kazakhstan. According to him, this issue is currently under consideration.
It is worth noting that the People’s Writer of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Magauin, passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 84.
