According to reports, a young employee of the Irtys district internal affairs department came home and shot himself in the head with his service weapon.
The press service of the Pavlodar regional police department confirmed the information about the serious injury of a police officer.
"Currently, the circumstances and causes of the incident are being determined," explained Safuan Zhampeyisov, deputy head of the Pavlodar regional department.
The police department explained that the victim was a police junior sergeant born in 2002. According to the health department of Pavlodar region, the young man was taken to Pavlodar city hospital No. 1 on the night of June 29.
