Kazakhstan has become the regional leader in terms of access to the Internet, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
According to Ookla, Kazakhstan took 72nd place among 146 countries in the 2023 SpeedTest Global Index traditional rating. According to the company's experts, mobile download speeds in the country have improved by 61% since the end of 2022, from 21.29 Mbps to 35.07 Mbps in December 2023.
Official representatives of Ookla also noted that Kazakhstan is striving to use 5G technology within the framework of the digital transformation strategy.
