US President Joe Biden met with opposition politician Alexei Navalny's wife Yulia Navalnaya and daughter Darya Navalnaya, "Adyrna" reporter reported.
The meeting was held on February 22 in San Francisco.
"I had the honor of meeting Navalny's wife and daughter. The politician was an amazing hero. "After the meeting, I am convinced that the opposition's wife will continue her struggle," said Biden.
At the same time, the US president noted that a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation is being prepared. The restrictions are believed to be imposed in response to the death of Alexei Navalny, Russia's crackdown on dissidents, and the country's aggressive actions against Ukraine.
