The state contract between one of the leading educational institutions where Muslim children study in France - Averroes Lyceum (Ibni Rushd) and the country of Turkey has been canceled, the national portal "Adyrna" reported with reference to the Anadolu Ajansı website.
According to the information, the relevant decision was taken by the French Governor of Ode-France, Georges-Francois Leclerc.
Leclerc explained this decision because the teaching system provided at the lycée "does not fully correspond" to the curriculum of the French Ministry of National Education. Regional authorities noted the lack of resources in the curriculum on topics such as "culture, gender relations, homosexuality".
