In Aktobe, on March 30, 2023, due to the rise in the level of the Kargaly River, 10 cottages near Kargaly were flooded, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
Mayor of Aktobe Murat Zhurebekov urgently checked the flood prevention measures.
Rescuers are now evacuating residents.
"Inhabitants of seven cottages, a total of 35 people, were evacuated to the temporary evacuation point. 80 people and 12 special equipment were mobilized to the scene."
According to the mayor, the situation is under constant control.
On March 27, 2023, it was reported that the flood reached the northern part of Aktobe region.
