Presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey will be held on May 14, 2023. The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, said this, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.

"On May 14, the political campaign demanded by our people will be held, Turks will vote in the elections," said Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Earlier, it was said that the elections might be postponed due to the devastating earthquake in the country.

Let us remind you that on February 6, a series of earthquakes occurred in Turkey, and 14 million people were affected.

According to the latest data, the death toll from the earthquake in Turkey has reached 45,089.
