The mayor of the region presented the draft of the complex plan for social and economic development of the region for 2022-2026, developed on the basis of the results of the President's visit to the Ulytau region, the national portal "Adyrna" reports with reference to the mayor of the Ulytau region.
An important document aimed at diversifying the economy of the Ulytau region includes more than 240 activities. They intend to develop social and industrial infrastructure and solve the most urgent problems in the region.
The comprehensive plan presented to Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev provides for attracting investors, expanding the production of solid minerals and developing new deposits, creating and developing a geological cluster. In addition, it is planned to build a new meat processing complex, a poultry farm and greenhouses.
Next year, construction of 132,800 square meters of housing, modernization of a multidisciplinary hospital, opening of an oncology dispensary and a modern "Mother and Child" center in Zhezkazgan will be carried out, and a hospital will be built in Ulytau district. In addition, 26 medical institutions will be opened in each district center and villages.
Berik Abdigaliuly also spoke about the repair and reconstruction of cultural and educational facilities. It is planned to build 11 high schools and 8 kindergartens within the framework of the national pilot project "Zhaily School".
