Boxing World Cup: Team Kazakhstan wins 8 gold and 4 silver medals

On July 6, the final day of the Boxing World Cup stage was held in Astana. Team Kazakhstan secured 8 gold and 4 silver medals, reports “Adyrna”.

Gold medals were won by Nazym Kyzaibay (up to 48 kg), Makhmud Sabyrkhan (up to 55 kg), Bekzad Nurdauletov (up to 85 kg), Viktoriya Grafeeva (up to 60 kg), Nataliya Bogdanova (up to 70 kg), Sanzhar Tashkenbay (up to 50 kg), Sabyrzhan Akkalikov (up to 75

kg), and Aibek Oralbay (over 90 kg).

Silver medals were claimed by Nurbek Oralbay (up to 80 kg), Alua Balkybekova (up to 51 kg), Nadezhda Ryabets (up to 75 kg), and Eldana Talipova (over 80 kg).

The World Cup began on June 30 and brought together over 300 athletes from nearly 30 countries. This was the first tournament in Kazakhstan under the Olympic-level World Boxing organization.
