Kazakhstani judoka Abiba Abuzhakynova won a silver medal at the World Judo Championship taking place in Budapest, Hungary, reports “Adyrna” national portal.
Abuzhakynova advanced to the final without any defeats in this prestigious tournament that brought together the world’s top judokas. In the final match, she faced
Italian athlete Assunta Scutto and was narrowly defeated.
It is worth noting that Abiba Abuzhakynova is the first Kazakh woman to reach the final of a World Judo Championship. Previously, she had won two bronze medals at this tournament.
