Due to the escalating situation in Iran, Kazakhstan has urgently evacuated 109 of its citizens, reports the national portal “Adyrna,” citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the ministry, the operation was carried out thanks to coordinated efforts between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, relevant state bodies, and Kazakhstan’s diplomatic missions abroad. All evacuated citizens have safely returned to the country.
Kazakh nationals were brought home via regional transit countries: 89 people were evacuated through Turkmenistan, while 20 returned via Azerbaijan.
All citizens were provided with consular and legal assistance, and the necessary conditions were ensured for their return home.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude to the governments of Iran, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan for their support and constructive cooperation.
