The head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of Shymkent B. Duisebekov reported on the work done  on the Instagram page @akimat_shymkent.
The head of the department focused on the main areas of work - the development of industry and job creation, investment and government support for business.
During the live broadcast, about 40 questions were asked from the population in the field of non-repayable grants, state support measures. B. Duisebekov answered all questions and informed about future plans.

As of October 1, 2021, 718 industrial enterprises are active in the city: 26 large and 44 medium enterprises. It employs more than 32.3 thousand people.
The volume of industrial output in January-September 2021 amounted to 632.5 billion tenge, an increase over the corresponding period of 2020 by 108.9 billion tenge. By the end of the year, this figure is expected to reach 710.0 billion tenge.
Manufacture of furniture in the manufacturing industry (124.6%), chemical industry (131.9%), mechanical engineering (159.8%), production of finished metal products (127.0%), basic pharmaceutical products (102.5%), The volume of production increased in the production of beverages (111.0%), oil refining products (106.8%).

According to the results of January-October 2021, 325.2 billions tenge were invested in the city's economy, an increase of 41.2% compared to the same period last year. In 2021, it is planned to implement 63 investment projects totaling 152.6 billion tenge (2.5 thousand new jobs). To date, 33 projects worth 63 billion tenge have been implemented.
As part of the Entrepreneurship Support Map, 8 projects worth 14 billion tenge were launched in the city in 2021, which created more than 450 jobs. On the eve of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 5 more projects worth 115 billion tenge (115 new jobs) will be launched.

In addition, this year 1,946 projects worth 7,804.4 million tenge were supported under the state program "Business Road Map 2025". "I will be an entrepreneur" provides 1% microloans for women and youth entrepreneurship up to 10.0 millions tenge. 1 060.0 million tenge was allocated from the local budget for this purpose.
