Kazpost has introduced the postage stamp "2200 years of Shymkent" within the series of stamps "Unforgettable and anniversaries" for the suggestion of Shymkent executive committee. The batch is 9000 copies. The stamp can be purchased at any branch of Kazpost JSC.
It should be reminded that by the decision of the 40th session of the UNESCO General Conference, the 2200th anniversary of Shymkent was included in the calendar of anniversaries and anniversaries of UNESCO for 2020-2021. As part of the celebration of the anniversary, a number of events are held in the city.
