New official appointments have been made in the national boxing teams of Kazakhstan, the national portal "Adyrna" reports.
Thus, the men's team of Kazakhstan was led by Kairat Satzhanov. He replaced Galymbek Kenzhebayev, who has been in charge of the national team since 2018, - said on the website of the Boxing Federation of Kazakhstan.
Kairat Satzhanov's coaching experience is 31 years. From 2011 to 2019 he worked as a senior coach of the youth team of Kazakhstan. During this time, the young boxers twice won the medal table of the International Games "Children of Asia" (2012 - 04.04.2012, 2016 - 4.04), twice entered the top three of the World Championship (2013). - 5.02.2015 - 1/1/3), as well as twice won the Asian Championship (2013 - 02.08.2011, 2017 - 8.08.22).
In 2019, Kairat Tursynkanovich was appointed head coach of the youth team of Kazakhstan. In two years, his athletes twice won the team event at the Asian Championship (2019 - 6/1/2, 2021 - 8/2/2) and took second place at the World Championship (2021 - 2/2/1).
Another important appointment was the name of the new head coach of the women's boxing team of Kazakhstan. Shamil Safiullin has been appointed coach to replace Erik Algabek, who resigned at his own request, the federation said.
Algabek was the coach of the team for two years. During this time, our team won two bronze medals at the 2019 World Cup, one Olympic license at the 2020 Asian Qualifying Tournament and the team classification of the 2021 Asian Championship (8/1/1).
Shamil Safiullin has 25 years of coaching experience. During this time, he worked both in Kazakhstan and abroad. He trained the winners of the world championship, Asian champions and multiple winners of the CRC. Since 2018, Shamil Abdulbaryuly has worked as a senior coach of the women's national boxing team of Kazakhstan.
