Today, the 17th international expert arrived in Aktau to assist in the investigation of the air crash, reports the national portal Adyrna.
In line with the directive of the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Tormor Turmodson, head of the Aviation Accident Investigation Division and an accredited observer to Kazakhstan, has arrived.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, ICAO has praised Kazakhstan’s aviation authority for conducting a transparent investigation and ensuring the involvement of interested states in the process.
Earlier, it was reported that Brazil had sent three investigators to assist in the investigation of the plane crash near Aktau.
