The 16-year-old girl who went missing in Kosshy a week ago was found safe and sound in Semey, reports Adyrna national portal, citing the press service of the Akmola Regional Police Department.
The minor, Dilnaz Sarsenova Yerankyzy, born in 2008, left home on October 19 and did not return. She did not answer phone calls.
Initially, her father tried to find her on his own but was unsuccessful. Consequently, on October 21, the parents sought assistance from law enforcement.
Police officers discovered that the girl had previously left home multiple times but had always returned. It was also found that she has a disability.
As a result of prompt search operations, the girl was located in Semey and is in good condition.
Police are asking parents, especially during school holidays, to closely monitor the whereabouts of their children.
