A tragic incident occurred at the “Sayak-3” mine near the city of Balkhash, where two workers lost their lives, reports “Adyrna.”
According to the company, carbon monoxide was released in the mine.
“All workers were evacuated promptly. The injured were transported to nearby medical facilities. Unfortunately, two workers have died,” the statement said.
Currently, the circumstances and causes of the incident are being investigated. A special commission has been established to examine the tragic event.
The management of “Kazakhmys” expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased and stated that all necessary assistance would be provided to the families of the victims.
