In Almaty, a public transport vehicle collided with a light vehicle, as reported by the “Adyrna” national portal.
One person died at the scene. The accident occurred at the intersection of Bokeykhanov Street.
According to the Almaty police department, the driver of a Mitsubishi vehicle was traveling north on the Northern Bypass Road and was attempting to change lanes when he collided with a bus operating on route 58, owned by a private carrier.
“As a result of the accident, a passenger in the Mitsubishi vehicle died from injuries sustained at the scene. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the traffic accident that resulted in a fatality,” the police stated.
