The administration plans to allocate another 800 million tenge for major repairs of the building. But parents are against such a decision. In connection with this matter, the administration of the Almaty region announced that the school was recognized as a disaster after the earthquake.
"A special commission was created to check the quality of construction. The culprits will be held accountable, and a case will be initiated in court against the construction company. Pupils of secondary school No. 40 in Ile district studied in secondary schools No. 17 and No. 54 in Boraldai village. In order to effectively organize the educational process, students were transported by 8 buses in three shifts. A special transportation schedule has been created to ensure timely arrival of students to classes. Headmasters and teachers on duty strictly monitor the observance of safety measures during the transportation of students every day.
