In the Almaty region, the school, which was put into operation 7 years ago, was recognized as a disaster and was destroyed, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.

It was reported on the Telegram channel "Pisma Presidentu" that the school was built for 2 billions tenge. A photo of school #40 in Ile district of Almaty region in a state of emergency appeared in the post.

"2 billions tenge of the people were spent on the construction of the building. Now about 3000 children have to go to nearby schools in neighboring villages. The administration plans to allocate another 800 million tenge for major repairs of the building. But parents are against such a decision. This is because the building is poorly constructed and endangers children's lives. "The most surprising thing is that no one was punished," the note says.

In connection with this matter, the administration of the Almaty region announced that the school was recognized as a disaster after the earthquake.

"A special commission was created to check the quality of construction. The culprits will be held accountable, and a case will be initiated in court against the construction company. Pupils of secondary school No. 40 in Ile district studied in secondary schools No. 17 and No. 54 in Boraldai village. In order to effectively organize the educational process, students were transported by 8 buses in three shifts. A special transportation schedule has been created to ensure timely arrival of students to classes. Headmasters and teachers on duty strictly monitor the observance of safety measures during the transportation of students every day. In addition, special attention was paid to providing students with timely and quality hot food. The school nurse regularly monitors the health of students. In the first week of the school year, students have fully adapted to the new learning process," said the mayor's office.
