The head of state Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev received the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, the national portal "Adyrna" reported. This was announced by the official website of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev noted that interregional cooperation makes a significant contribution to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Astana and Moscow. In this regard, the Republic of Bashkortostan plays a special role.
"Today's visit is very important in terms of giving new impetus to comprehensive relations between Kazakhstan and Russia. We will make every effort to diversify our contacts in industry, agro-industrial complex and humanitarian spheres," said the Head of State.
The President drew attention to the successful implementation of a number of agreements, including the Road Map of Cooperation for 2023-2024 signed at the level of governments.
In turn, Radiy Khabirov thanked Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev for his hospitality on Kazakh soil.
"We know that you attach great importance to the development of relations between Bashkortostan and Kazakhstan. A large delegation came with me. In 2-3 years, we have significantly increased the volume of trade and industrial cooperation. Today we opened the forum "Kazakhstan - Bashkortostan". For us, Kazakhstan is the most important partner. We feel free here," said Rady Khabirov.
At the meeting, emphasis was placed on revitalizing cooperation in trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, industrial and other areas of mutual interest.
