The General Prosecutor's Office has announced that more than a thousand people are wanted internationally, reported "Adyrna" correspondent referring to Kazinform.
The General Prosecutor's Office said how many people were extradited to Kazakhstan last year.
"In 2023, 55 wanted persons were extradited to Kazakhstan from Bulgaria, Georgia, Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine and other countries. At the same time, it was possible to extradite wanted persons from Germany, Latvia, Cameroon, Poland, and Sweden to Kazakhstan despite the absence of an extradition treaty," said the response of the General Prosecutor's Office to the agency's question.
According to the agency, 823 people are wanted internationally. And 1,543 people are wanted internationally.
