Minister of Information and Social Development Darkhan Kydyrali informed what priorities were proposed to be given to the state language in the draft of the new law on "Mass-media", "Adyrna" reported with reference to Kazinform.
"You know that until now the language of the press worked on the principle of 50/50. We're going to change it and make it 70/30 now. If the new law on "Mass media" is adopted, all information, 70 percent of all mass media of the country will be Kazakh," the minister said at the special meeting of the international "Kazakh language" society.
