According to the Almaty city police department, the traffic accident happened at around one o'clock in the morning in Medeu district.
"Due to the collision between a motorcycle and a bicycle, the drivers of both vehicles were killed. Based on this fact, the investigative department of the Almaty city police department has started pre-trial investigations under part 4 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (violation of traffic rules resulting in the death of two or more people in Abaisyz). Experts have been appointed," explained the press service of the city police department.
Investigations are currently being conducted in connection with the incident.
