The short animated film "Besik zhyry"(Lullaby) was recognized as the best among 1500 candidates at the prestigious film festival held in Madrid, the capital of Spain. "Adyrna" national portal informed about this with reference to Zakon.kz publication.
The short animated film "Besik zhyry" released with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan won the "Best Short Animated Film" award.
"MADFA Madrid Film Awards - 2023 1500 animated works were nominated as candidates for the 20th international competition," the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan announced.
Askhat Oralov, the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted that "the fact that the Kazakh animated film won the main prize of a prestigious international competition can be considered an indicator of the positive development of the domestic animation industry."
