On February 25-26, 2023, in Besagash village, Talgar district, cottage town "Burabay" due to snow mixed precipitation, the ground became swampy and soil moved from the hillside. The displaced soil entered the courtyard of the house and damaged windows and interior rooms. Cracks appeared from the impact of the soil. There are no casualties or damage. Related to this:
"Employees of the Department of Railways, MM "Kazseldenkorgau" and local executive bodies were immediately sent to the scene of the incident. A commission was formed to determine the exact cause of the incident and the damage caused," said the press service of the Railways of Almaty region.
According to the forecast, the volume of the fallen soil is 360 cubic meters. Residents of damaged houses are temporarily sheltering in their neighbors' houses.
