President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev visited the new administrative building of the Constitutional Court, which had been operating since the beginning of the year, and met with the appointed judges. This was reported by the press service of Akorda, the national portal "Adyrna" wrote.
The head of state noted that the Constitutional Court was a body that played a special role in the life of the country, and thanked the members of the Constitutional Council, who worked successfully for 27 years, and the employees who worked there at every stage.
- Today, Kazakhstan has entered a new era, unprecedented political reforms have been implemented. Currently, there are only a few countries in the world that are carrying out such large-scale and comprehensive reforms. This is the truth. The whole world recognizes this. Kazakhstan has become a reforming state. In general, many changes are taking place in the country. Emphasis is placed on protecting the constitutional rights of citizens. Public representatives are eager to actively participate in this work. That is why I took the initiative to create a Constitutional Court. Our citizens supported these and other proposals in the national referendum, said the President.
