Famous singer Jennifer Lopez has refused to hold a concert in Moscow, fearing negative reactions in the West due to the war in Ukraine, reports “Adyrna.”
The American singer was initially scheduled to perform in Moscow. Negotiations with her team began in April 2025, according to the Mash Telegram channel. The singer’s managers had agreed to a concert in August, with a fee of no less than one million dollars. A preliminary contract had been signed and a specific date had been set.
However, Lopez’s team later withdrew from the agreement, concerned that a concert in Russia could be negatively received by Western audiences due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Sources also suggest that Jennifer Lopez might consider performing in Russia in the future if the war ends.
PMI concert agency head Evgeny Finkelshtein, who was involved in the negotiations, declined to comment but did not deny the information.
