An explosion occurred in the pyrotechnics warehouse of the J. Jabbarly film studio located in the Yasamal district of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, according to Trend, reports Adyrna.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, safety measures are currently being implemented, and police officers have arrived at the scene.

Preliminary reports indicate that an explosive device used during filming accidentally detonated. The explosion triggered a large fire at the film studio.

Initially, witnesses mistook the sound of the explosion for fireworks.

According to available information, there were no casualties among civilians. The area affected by the explosion is now under police control, and firefighting operations were carried out.
