The number of people killed in the earthquake in Turkey has exceeded 12 thousand, the national portal "Adyrna"wrote.
According to Anadolu publication, the number of people who died as a result of the earthquake reached 12,391, and 62,914 people were injured.
Earlier it was reported that 8,574 people were killed and more than 49,000 were injured. Rescue operations are ongoing.
