The newly elected Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan suspended its powers before the Majilis. The President said this in a decree, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
"In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 70 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Article 4 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan", I DECIDE before the newly elected Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the termination of the powers of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1. Let the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan perform its duties until the new composition of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is approved.
2. This Decree shall be enforced from the date of its signing," the Presidential Decree states.
