The number of Russian and Ukrainian citizens in the cities of Kazakhstan has increased significantly. It is widely believed that mass migration of Russians will increase unemployment in the country. At the end of March, it was reported that 6,300 people had arrived in Kazakhstan from Russia since the beginning of the year.
