Ruslan Zheldibay has been appointed as the president’s advisor and press secretary. This was announced by Akorda’s press service on February 17, according to Adyrna correspondent.
“By the order of the head of state, Ruslan Sultanuly Zheldibay has been appointed as the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the President’s Press Secretary. He has been relieved of his duties as the Assistant to the President on Internal Policy and Communications,” the statement said.
Previously, this position was held by Berik Uali, who was appointed as the governor of the Abai region today.
